About the Scholarship
The scholarship was initially founded in the memory of Paterson Firefighter John A. Nicosia, who made the Supreme Sacrifice on January 17, 1991. The PFA Scholarship Fund seeks to promote public safety awareness among young people through the annual awarding of scholarships.
The recipients are children of active or retired firefighters of the City of Paterson who are attending college or a trade school.
To date, the Scholarship Committee has awarded over $85,000 in scholarships.
The Annual Outing
A great day on the course, complete with green fees, cart, endless beer, soft drinks & water and a boxed lunch included during play and a BBQ dinner at event end.
